Cold-pressed oils or Virgin oils are unadulterated natural extracts of oil-bearing nuts and seeds, crushed and pressed at high pressure at room temperature to separate the organic oil content in them without applying additional heat or artificial solvents. The genuine cold pressing process is carried out slowly to avoid an increase in temperature of more than 115 °F, which secures the phytochemical compounds, micronutrients, and antioxidants that are natural to the plant source. Virgin oils are anti-inflammatory with rich sources of vitamin E and boost immunity with the abundant presence of oleic acid. The tint, aroma, and flavor of virgin oils are distinct from those of hot-pressed oils, which lose their natural properties and natural color while being processed at a temperature above 200 °F with chemicals for maximum oil extraction. Cold-pressed oils are a better, healthier, and far less greasy alternative to refined cooking oils.
